WALTER BUCKETT

Walter Buckett is a ZeldAction game I made during my second semester of my second year at Rubika. We were 4 Game Designers and 4 Game Artists.
The complexity of Walter Buckett was to make a complete game with two dungeons, puzzles, bosses and an history.

WHAT DID I DO ?

GAME DESIGN

I had the responsibility to create puzzles for the island and the two dungeons in Walter Buckett. I really loved to do puzzles for every mechanics in the game and to manage the difficulty in function of the player progress. Finally I made the entire walkthrough with every feels, various ambiences, first appearance of enemies and discoveries of different mechanics.

LEVEL DESIGN

Walter Buckett is a sort of OpenWorld so I realized the entire level, all paths and the general architecture of the island and dungeons. 
It was difficult because I had to justify every elements of Level Design. Every puzzles had to match with the rest of the level. I learned a lot about Level Design and I'm very proud of my work.

I made a little part of the general documentation. I defined enemies and core gameplay with co-workers of the team. I made a big work about the walkthrough with every details of the entire game.

DOCUMENTATION

SOUND DESIGN

I made all SFX of Walter Buckett, I was the only one on this task. There were a lot of SFX and a lot of musics for each areas in the game, the research and the mixing were long but I'm proud of the final result.
