ACOCALYPSE

September 2019 - January 2020

Acocalypse is a RogueLike game I made during my second year. 
We were 4 Game Designers and 3 Game Artists and it was our first video game at Rubika.

WHAT DID I DO ?

GAME DESIGN

I participate to elaborate the gameplay, rules and the game feel of Acocalypse with my co-workers. I analyzed a lot of RogueLike games to understand and elaborate the "perfect" game.

LEVEL DESIGN

We did a system for a random generator of a level because we wanted to create a replayability for gamers like a RogueLike game. So we have to create little parcels. I made architectures of them and positions of enemies on them.

DOCUMENTATION

I participate a lot to write all documentations about Acocalypse. It was about Game Design, milestones and a bit of Narrative Design. I worked to find names for all weapons and enemies of the game.

SOUND DESIGN

I made all SFX of Acocalypse : 
I researched a lot for perfect sounds and we made certain of them with co-workers of the team. It was my first experience of Sound Design and it was difficult to find and modify sounds and musics.
